A judging panel of top fashion designers, photographers, fashion journalists and industry representatives will nominate two finalists in each of the five categories – Ready to Wear Women’s, Ready to Wear Men’s, Contemporary Evening Wear, Eco Design and Costume Couture.
Kerry Banyard, portfolio manager at the WA Institute of Fashion and Textiles at Swan Tafe’s Bentley campus, said the new event format gave more students an opportunity to show their designs, style and creative flair.
